Your Right: Protecting Your Biometric Data
Your biometric data uniquely identifies you and belongs inherently to you. This information is valuable not only to you, but to larger corporate interests too. This is why it is so imperative to protect your biometric data and the existing Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA).
BIPA ensures individuals have full control of the use of their own biometric data and puts restrictions on the collection of biometric data from private companies and businesses.
